Akar has been established in 2004 by Mikail Yeşil and Selami Yeşil for manifacturing metal cutting and fason labour in Turgutlu / Manisa. In 2006, ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate has been obtained by Bureau Veritas.

SSQM process of world’s giant Schneider Electric’s quality management system has been successfully completed and assumed the title of APPROVED SUBORDINATE INDUSTRY.

Developing and growing with metal cutting capabilities, Akar, moved its plant in 2008. Within Turgutlu Sanayi Bölgesi (KSS) growing its activities in around a 1200m² field. Lately Akar has become the supplier that can produce specificially automative products.

From 2008 to 2014, grew up to 35% annually.

Akar Makina, aims to increase efficiency by online plant monitoring via Trex DCAS MES project investment.
